This January, Atlantic had the opportunity to partner with a church in Guatemala known as CCCG to lead a small team of young adults on a month long mission trip all over the country of Guatemala. The main focus of the trip was to share the love of God to children and their families through music, fairs and games in the the communities that CCCG had previously established relationships and to aid in the forming of new ones. Over the four-week span the team put on eight fairs and over twenty concerts across the country - from remote poverty stricken villages on a dirt stage, to the streets in Guatemala City.  Atlantic also had the opportunity to spend a couple days in the Remar orphanage leading both high school and elementary chapels, playing with the children, and taking in a morning of school with them. The final two Sundays out of the month Cory was able to preach at two different churches, Atlantic led worship, and the rest of the team led children´s Sunday school. Atlantic was also able to speak to different youth groups around the city about purity and self-worth while team members participated in conversations with the young people. Over the course of the month Atlantic and the team was incredibly blessed with the hospitality of the Guatemalan people as they were able to take part in their daily outreach and kingdom work. This trip was the first of its kind for the ministry of Atlantic. While Atlantic has been ministering full time for the last four years all over North America this was the first one outside of the US and Canada.  As God continues to move in the hearts of these young men, there are already plans in the work for more ministry endeavors of this kind. Feel free to check out videos below or pictures on their Flickr.
